Sure! That's just one unit, and you're pretty much bang on the average, anyway. From what you've said, they don't require 70+ in all six Economics units.

Well, this is what it says:

70+ average in ECC2000 Intermediate Micro AND ECC2010 Intermediate Macro;
70+ average in at least four ECC3xxx level units (not including econometrics units at the third year level)

So just a little concerned that maybe they will be very strict about requiring a 70 in every single subject.

Although they do also have the following clause: If you are uncertain, or think that you have enough good marks but perhaps not the golden average, then speak to the Honours Coordinator and discuss your situation.

So hopefully they won't care too much about being 1 mark off :P (regretting only getting 3/5 for my tute attendance now!)

But the important thing is it lists it in those two clauses. So, my understanding is you just need a 70 average between ECC2000 and ECC2010, and then another 70 average between four level 3 ECC units. So, if you have/get a 71 in ECC2010, you should be fine! I also know that for some science honours the rule isn't as hard and fast as you'd expect - usually the university wants people in honours, and undergrad marks aren't a good indicator for doing well in honours (like how a high ATAR isn't a good indicator for doing well in uni! Yeah, there's a correlation, sure, but not as much as you'd expect), and the university knows this, so if they have a spot for you and you just miss out, they'll usually give it to you!

In other news, got a 78 for a unit that allows you to resubmit up to one lab. I didn't use my resubmit - but if I had, I could've picked up those extra 2 marks. :'( A little saddening tbh.

True, I guess there is multiple ways to interpret what they mean by 'average'. Oh well, I'll just smash out the rest of my economics units and hope for the best! :)

What is considered to be the 'average' GPA  and an 'average' WAM? :)
Thanks!

BMS1011  89  HD
BMS1021  90  HD
BMS1031  86  HD
MTH1030  81  HD

lol @ MTH1030, so i've learnt that winging a maths unit doesn't work as well -_-

Quite happy overall, although I really need to fix my attitude towards studies... almost all motivation went out the window after VCE ended (sigh)

And now that things are up on WES: (/now that I'm actually awake enough to use the forums olol)

2016   CHM3911   3   ADVANCED PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY   1   6   75   D
2016   CHM3930   3   MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY   1   6   64   C
2016   CHM3941   3   ADVANCED INORGANIC CHEMISTRY   1   6   78   D
2016   CHM3990   3   CHEMISTRY PROJECT   1   6   87   HD

Oh man so glad I passed med chem that was so close to a fail. :') (and before someone comes in with the "but that's a 64! way higher than a fail!", I was worried about a hurdle, my lowest possible mark without failing was about 58 :P)

Certainly not as great as some other people here, either, but damn I'm satisfied! (except that 78 will continue to haunt ugh. :'( Almost as bad as the 79 last year...) Plus the WAM is still above 80, even if by less than 0.1 :P  Now let's see if I can keep it that way for one more semester... (TT, if you're still watching this, I'm trusting you to bring me up with ETC3400 ;) )

ECE2071 Computer Organization and Programming 92 HD
ECC1000 Introduction to Microeconomics 91 HD
ATS1001 Chinese Introductory 88 HD
MGC1010 Introduction to Management 84 HD

Much better than last semester - got a WAM bump and GPA bump up. Didn't have Business Law to do and overloading seems to have helped my marks surprisingly hahaha.

BCH2011 Structure and function of cellular metabolites 95 HD
PSY2061 Biological psychology 90 HD
PSY2071 Developmental psychology 89 HD
PSY3180 Human neuropsychology: developmental and neurodegenerative disorders 87 HD

This semester has easily been my hardest semester so far and it's been the semester I've put the most work into, so I'm glad my work has paid off. I was expecting to get quite a bit lower in PSY2071 though  :o

Your result is pretty decent tho. Is Medicinal Chemistry difficult? It is one of my core units and I have to hit 70 and above in order to do 4th year.
