I'm not sure where you got this from? Carnegie and Murrumbeena stations are closing for a month, but the line remains open.

One of the main advantages of Skyrail is avoiding the month-long disruptions that they had on the Frankston line.

Apologies, my mistake. Apparently you only have to worry about that if you stop at either Murrumbeena or Carnegie. Ignore my post LOL

lecture capture is working, quickly download your lectures before it shuts down again

if the census date is tomorrow, can I still drop subjects all day tomorrow?

also, if I do three subjects this semester and I do a summer subject, I'll finish my course on time right?

technically yeah -- you decide where your credit points fit into your degree.

that being said, you might want to be careful doing 2 subjects, as that is equivalent to a part-time load (might have consequences such as cutting off centrelink payments, etc.)

thanks :) just realised that pretty much none of my environments subjects are in the available in the summer or winter term... so then I could just do my breadths during these periods right, and do all environments stuff during the normal semesters? (sorry about all the questions lol)

Yes that is possible, just make sure that your breadth have summer and winter availabilities.

So, UoM is top in Australia and its lecture capture system is riddled with as many holes as there are numbers between 0 and 1.
Man, Harvard must upload its lectures five years late.

not sure about harvard but a fair few people who i've met from some very good american universities have told me that lectures are compulsory and generally not recorded at all because most people live on campus (first years HAVE to live on campus in most cases) so the whole watching recorded lectures thing is not that common there. a couple of uni's record lectures for the purpose of putting them online on their opencourse programs and shit but they still make the kids attend and you can only miss like 2 lectures per subject or something. also apparently visiting lecturers and teaching assistants (kinda like tutors but its not really a thing in australia) during office hours and going to consults is a WAY bigger thing over there and people generally get to know lecturers and shit quite well as they visit often for help.

A mate who went on exchange to the US said the same thing, lectures aren't recorded over there.

That sounds amazing! Surely you'll be wanting to apply for ivy league universities like MIT once you've completed your undergraduate though? That is, given the average you have.

UoM is playing a sick joke.
I don't live close to UNI so rely on lecture capture and it's still not working properly. Absolute disgrace. Admin fees should be wavered as compensation imo.

Uhh I still have a recording for a subject from last Friday which hasn't appeared on the LMS. Should I be getting worried now? This week's recordings for the same subject are already uploaded lol.
