Just wondering, are there any parts of the english course for 2017 that I should dedicate more time to?

Very belated reply here, but I think there are some Areas of Study that deserve more attention than others, namely the highlighted ones below:


The Text Response, Analysing Argument, and Comparative Essay tasks more or less correspond to what will be on the exam, and that exam is ~50% of your mark.

The Creative Response and Presenting Argument SACs are still important and worth preparing for, but once they're over, you won't have to keep dedicating any time to them. On the other hand, you will definitely have to keep up those other essay skills in preparation for the end of the year :)
