I think this thread is worthy of a revival, because we've got big news!!

As of May next year, we have new definitions for a whole bunch of SI units - The kilogram, the ampere, the mole and the kelvin. The value of a volt and an ohm is actually changing (ever so slightly), while the value of everything else is being fixed to a physical constant ;D
